Book Description

Introduction This book is about the Church. Enough said? The last two words of my short introductory sentence have the potential to start either a debate or have people change the topic altogether.

Why? For some the local church in town is no more than a reminder of a time long gone by with only some vague flash backs of Sunday school stories and Friday afternoon fun and games.

For others it is more than just a memory. It is their place of belonging. It is where they experience community and the warmth and hospitality of a different kind of family. For those the local church on the hill or the community centre where they meet in the city is where they go to share life. Life with all its unexpected turns and rollercoaster drops.
