Thinking Through Galatians

A Study Guide and Exposition

L.A. Motts fort is careful analysis of biblical text.

The issue the Galatian churches struggled with in the 1st century has challenged every generation since: what it means to be free in Christ.

Some believe that in Christ we have simply exchanged the Law of Moses for an updated law codethe law of Christ (Gal. 6:2). Some read that we are “not under law but under grace” (Rom. 6:14) and believe that God puts on us no requirements more specific than to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:31).

What did the Apostle Paul believe? Read Thinking Through Galatians with an open mind and open Bible and, as you follow Pauls train of thought, you may just come away with a clearer understanding of the nature of the gospel of Christ.
