Introduction

As Lord Caitanya predicted, this chanting is no longer confined to India but has spread all over the world. His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada was empowered by Lord Caitanya to make this chanting process universally popular. In pursuance of the teachings of Lord Caitanya, rila Prabhupada founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in New York in 1966. rila Prabhupada passed away from this world in 1977, but the movement he started continues to grow.
