Qu dice la Biblia sobre el aborto?

Puede que se sorprenda al descubrir que la respuesta es “nada”. Aunque muchos podran tomar esto como una licencia y argumentar que a Dios no le importa, una lectura ms cercana de las Escrituras nos dar la opinin opuesta.

La Biblia no dice nada sobre el “aborto”, pero s dice bastante sobre la vida en el tero. Lo que Dios dice en su palabra es bastante revelador. En Gnesis 25: 21-22, Rebeca concibi y “los nios lucharon juntos dentro de ella”. Lo que estaba dentro de su tero se traduce con precisin por la palabra “nios”. En 2 Reyes 19: 3, el rey Ezequas habl de “… nios que han nacido y no hay fuerzas para dar a luz”. Una vez ms, lo que hay en el tero, antes de nacer, se conoce como nios. Lo que muchos han estado dispuestos a matar brutalmente en abortos parciales de nacimiento est etiquetado por Dios como “nios!

What does the Bible say about abortion?

You may be surprised to find out that the answer is, nothing. Although many might take this as license and argue that God doesnt care, a closer reading of the Scriptures will give us just the opposite view.

The Bible says nothing about abortion, but it does say quite a bit about life in the womb. What God does say in His word is quite revealing. In Genesis 25:21-22, Rebekah conceived and the children struggled together within her. What was within her womb is accurately translated by the word children. In 2 Kings 19:3, King Hezekiah spoke of children who have come to birth, and there is no strength to deliver. Again, what is in the womb, before being born, is referred to as children. That which so many have been willing to kill brutally in partial birth abortions is labeled by God as children!
